 Thanks for visiting our website. We are located in the Southwestern part of Pamlico County, North Carolina on the Banks of the Neuse River. Our fire department is incorporated and organized under the laws of the State of North Carolina as a non-profit corporation (501c3). The primary purpose of the corporation is to afford fire protection to the communities of Township #5 and throughout Pamlico County. The secondary purpose is to aid, assist and cooperate with any and all organizations, private or public, in promoting safety/conservation of property and protection of lives.
We currently maintain a roster of 24 Volunteer members. Our Fire Station is located at 8233 NC Hwy 306 S. Arapahoe, NC just pass the crossroads in the center of the town. Please feel free to stop by anytime you see someone at the Station. As always, we are seeking Volunteers of all ages and if you are interested contact us for more information. We now provide not only Fire Protection, but Basic Life Support First Response along with Vehicle Extrication, and Water Rescue. If you are interested in any of these fields, again please contact us. These signs help us locate you faster, especially at night because they reflect the numbers so we can see them. We ask you to help us to help you faster.
